Echo & The Bunnymen – The Killing Moon

“The Killing Moon” 来自英国 Post-Punk 乐队 Echo & the Bunnymen 1984 的专辑 Ocean Rain. 灵感来自主唱 Ian McCulloch 某天醒过来想着 “fate up against your will” 这句话, 然后就把它写在纸上最后完成这个这首歌. 歌词非常好.

这首歌进过英国排行榜 Top 10, 英国人对非主流的接受度果然比美国人高一些, 虽然美国也有 The B52’s 这种奇怪的例子. 另外 Killing Moon 的 mv 拍的有点像香港武侠片(一开始的时候), 我一直以为林青霞会从哪冒出来.

我很惭愧很早以前就收了他们专辑但认真听是在看了 Donnie Darko 之后, 这是我看过的 2000年之后最牛逼的片子. 电影里临近结束的 Party 放了这首歌(这是 director’s cut 版本, 第一版是因为当时没有拿到 INXS 的 “Never Tear Us Apart“版权结果用Killing Moon 放在一开头代替). 下面是 Donnie Darko, 导演是 Richard Kelly, 当然这是 director’s cut 版(133分钟), 感谢 youku.
